Business Continuity Statement
Updated 06/01/2021
Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and the wider community. We know your business depends on our ability to provide reliable, uninterrupted service, so in light of the recent developments around Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we would like to share with you the measures we are taking to ensure service continuity.
We will continue to follow the guidelines laid out by the UK Government so this guidance may be amended without prior notification.
1. NOUVEAU PERSONNEL
All staff have been instructed to practice good hygiene by washing hands regularly and using hand sanitiser which is available for all staff in the office. If a member of staff or any member in their household has any of these symptoms, continuous cough or fever, they must not come to work and isolate at home for 14 days
Where possible staff are advised to avoid large groups and non-essential outings and conduct meetings via Microsoft Teams, or by video conferencing.
In light of new lockdown measures, onsite support visits will only be carried out with prior consent of all parties and subject to strict guidelines being followed to ensure both clients and Nouveau personnel are operating in safe Covid conditions.
We have initiated the remote working element of our business continuity plan for the majority of staff, all of whom have full access to all systems and communication platforms. A small team of staff remain in the office which will be monitored on a daily basis.
New: To further ensure the safety of our staff and our customers we have updated our COVID-19 Engineer Site Visit Policy. This policy outlines both the commitments to be made by Nouveau and the Customer when carrying out site visits. You can read the updated policy by clicking here.
2. SUPPLY CHAIN
Our supply chain includes global organisations, such as Fortinet of whom have business continuity plans and work from home arrangements in place.
Operational staff within our business are actively monitoring and reviewing the situation and are in contact with the supply chain to mitigate any risk to deliveries or product fulfilment.
3. SUPPORT SERVICES
The provision of support services including providing same day or next business day spares replacement. Fortinet have confirmed adequate spares holdings outside of the areas which are significantly impacted by Coronavirus so this is not likely to impact any return to manufacturer (RMA) shipments.
The situation will be continuously monitored and assessed by the relevant members of staff in consultation with the relevant OEM/manufacturer.
4. BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN
As an ISO9001 and ISO27001 certified business we have a Business Continuity plan in place. The plan includes provisions for our employees to be able to work from home with access to all of our systems and communications in the event it is deemed that either individuals, or large parts of our workforce are required to work from home.
5. ONGOING ASSESSMENT
We will continually review and monitor the situation and the guidance which is issued by the UK Government. We remain committed to supporting your business and will continue to provide you with updates appropriately.
